The BIOSATIVA Ecological cleaner was developed with the GREEN APPLE AWARD excellent.
HOW IT WORKS
What is a surfactant?
A surfactant, that is, a surface-active agent, is a substance that, when dissolved in water, gives a product the ability to remove dirt from surfaces, human skin, textiles or other solids.
How do surfactants work?
Effect on surface tension
Surfactants reduce the surface tension of water.
Wetting capacity of surfactants
Wetting is the ability of liquids to spread on (solid) surfaces. The lower the surface tension of the liquid, the better the wetting. A drop of surfactant spreads more on the surface than a drop of water because the hydrophobic tails of the surfactant molecules create contact between the surface and the water (the hydrophilic head parts extend into the water), which creates strong intermolecular forces.
What is dispersibility?
Adsorption of surfactant anions on surface and dirt
Reduction of dirt adhesion
Removing dirt from the surface
Keeping the dirt in the wash water
Due to the surfactant properties
